Description
Please join us for the Fall 2024 Day of Action! This is a biannual event where UMB students, faculty, and staff partner with local community organizations to support their work. The basic agenda is as follows:
8:15/8:30am: meet at JFK MBTA stop, eat breakfast
9am-12pm: project at community partner site
Fall 2024 partners include: Codman Square Neighborhood Council, The Food Project, Great Ashmont Main Street, U-ACCESS, and Urban Harbors Institute
12:30/1pm: return to campus for lunch and speaker
Hear from Shanique Rodriguez, Executive Director of the Massachusetts Voter Table
2pm: program ends
This is a great way to meet students and learn about our vibrant Dorchester community! We hope to see you there.
